HSBT-Stamp Tools-Blocks

Most saddle makers will call these Block Stamps, or Geometric Stamps or Set Stamps. Call them what you will, but they all create a repetative diaper pattern of some sort.

Block stamps come in three sizes as shown 5/8 largest, 1/2, and 3/8 the smallest. These first stamps are our basic block. Use in combination with others to make designs.

This is an HSBT original design, we call the Swirling Star. Makes for a very unique pattern when its finished up.

These new block stamps are designated as a "P" numbers stamp. We have included with each stamp an example of what design you can make with this stamp, but remember the design possibilities are endless with block stamps. Try one out and try to create your own design.

We have here one of the most popular styles of Block tools ever made. Great looking old-timey tool for those old Turtle Association Saddle rebuilds

This is a Horse Shoe Brand original, and I dont think you will see it else where. MAkes a great stamped pattern.

This is another block pattern that HSBT came up with. looks great once the pattern is filled in. Also very easy to run.

Crazy Legs, Windmill Block, I've heard several names for this pattern. There could be argument about this, but this may be the oldest block pattern that I know of, and every tool maker since Moses has made one of this pattern. This is our version, and if you aint carefull with this stamp pattern it will "eat yer lunch" right there at the stamping bench- so pay attention.

You will notice that the legs on this version are shaded, it gives the pattern a little added richness when done.

NAVAJO RUG DIAMOND This tool Jeremiah used on one of his custom saddles and had people asking for it so much we decided to include it in our line of stamp tools. We have shown a stamped example here, made with this tool. Most often we cut a grid work of swivel cuts to frame the tools diamond shape, then we use a double bevel tool on all those lines. Next we set the Navajo tool into each diamond shape, we finish off the whole pattern with a small seeder at each junction of the diamond. Jeremiah used the larger size on a complete saddle and turned out very classy looking! It comes in two sizes 3/4 inch length and 1/2 inch length.

	SANTA FE DIAMOND This stamp is very similar to the Navajo Rug Diamond but has a more defined border on each stamp. This tool is stamped in the same manner as the tool above but creates a different color pattern because it leaves the diamond design raised up.
